A concrete splash block is a small block placed under a drain spout. Its purpose is to catch water and let it drain away from a building or home. If rain is not diverted away from a building, the standing water can damage the foundation or cause damp basement walls. A precast concrete splash block placed under a down spout will allow controlled drainage of rainwater. Concrete splash blocks designed and manufactured by All Star Concrete will divert water away from the foundation and help to prevent soil erosion.
Splash blocks are available in a number of different styles and sizes. Generally newly constructed buildings and homes will include basic concrete splash blocks with no color.
